New Years Traditions in China

Chinese New Year is coming. There are a lot of traditions about Chinese

New Year. It is said that Chinese use popping firecrackers to scary away

the monster. But it’s just a legend. Besides, for a fresh start in the New

Year, family spend time to sweeping floors, cutting hair, washing old clothes.

It means everything is new again. We will eat reunion dinner and get

together with our family. After the dinner children will get red envelopes

from adults. Speaking of traditions, Lion Dance is a kind of tradition

in China. The lion Dance banishes last year’s troubles and welcome

the New Year’s promises. In a word, I can't wait to join Chinese New

Year.

never change. We should find the passion from our work, family

and friends. Don't afraid of lose something.Nothing to loose. We

have to find something and someone that We really want. Life

connects with many dots. We can't see how things going to happen

at this moment. But after many years later, it will very clearly, so

every decisions will effect in the future .If we face the difficult.

Don't settle. Success is not coincidence. Before we get it we have to

take the awful tasting medicine. There is a will, there is a way. Life

can not return. I’ll listen my inner voice, and remember stay

hungry stay foolish. Keep learning new things and keep modest.

The Advantages of Growing up in a Small Town

Growing up in a small town let me feel comfortable. I have lived in a small

town since I was 3 years old. In my opinion, the natural environment is better

than the cities. For example, people who lives in cities is exposed to air

pollution, water pollution and noise pollution. But here, the air is fresh, the

birds sing songs everywhere and the water is clean. In addition, the people

is more friendly in the small town. My neighbors are not only friendly but

also like tomake friends with everyone. If someone gets in trouble, someone

will get the help from them. However, I get the relationship from my

neighbors. On the other hand, its not hard to find a parking space in the

small town. There aren’t too many cars and people in the small town. The

pace seems to be more slowly. It makes me more relaxing. To sum up, Im

feel happy that growing up in thesmall town.

My 2010 New Year Resolutions

My 2010 New Year Resolutions

I have three resolutions for the year of 2010. First, I intend to go to fitness

center. I ate too much lately and put on weight. I need to reduce weight

in order to keep healthy. On the other hand, I want to keep a youthful

appearance of my age. Second, I intend to take over one of a cram school

that I work in it. Because there has too many problems, they don't try

hard to deal with the problems. It will close in the future. If it close I

will take it over immediately. Then start to run my business. With the

thinking of the idea, I must spend time to read the books of management

skill. Third, I will improve my computer skill. I will not only buy some

books about how to use power point, words and excel but also study the

books by myself during winter vacation. By the way, I need to get my

degree as soon as possible. They are all about my new year's resolutions.

I will do my best to let them come true. As the proverb goes “Where

there is a will, there is a way.”

My Big challenge-Back to School to Be a Student

I'm so happy that I back to school this year. At first. I'm not

adapt the life at school. Because I have't been a student for 10

years. Starting from today, I will have to prepare report and exams

for 2 years. Sometime it's kind of torture for me. Especially I

have to use computers. I have no ideal about the computers except

get and send email. So If I have to turn in my homework or

report with the computers. I alway feel very nervous. I hope

I can improve my computer skill as soon as possible.

My Dog

I have a cute dog, DuDu. He was a stray dog. The first timeI saw him was

in front a breakfast shop when I bought my breakfast. He standed at the

door and saw me. He was still a puppy and looked innocent although

I wanted to take him home but I have no time to take care of him.

Then I backed home to prepare something about my work and still feel

a little bit sad about him. After I off duty in the evening and I

back home. I opened the car door. Then the dog walked up to me.

I guessed he tried to find me and he was waiting for me. Let't me

feel so touching. So I decided to adopt him until now. I get lots of

happiness from him. Thanks for him make my life more colorful.

What I Has Learned from Twilight

I watched a movie name twilight lately. In fact it's an unrealistic

movie. And it reveal everybody pursue true love. But we have too

much expectation about it. Maybe it an romantic movie, but not my

cup of tea. In conclusion, we are so lucky. Because we owns lots of

love from our family, friends, classmates and teachers. And we are

used to it. Sometimes, we take it for granted. But it not. Love

means a lots for us. It always supports us when we feel frustrated.

However, we need to cherish the love. And show your gratitude

to someone who love you.

A Person Who Made a Different: My friend,Sun

I want to introduce myfriend Sun, who is patient, smart, thoughful and

talented. Because of his talented and independence, he bought his first house

when he was 23 years old. After 2 years, he became a landlord. Then he

started analysis about real estate and make it big. But hi's still modest.

His motto is " Nothing can beat you, if you never give up." and

"Someone get success because he is ready to take the chance. I learn

a lots from him especially his spirit. I'm so happy to meet him.

They Just Want a Home

I want to share a story about a stray dog. I read it from a name card

The story is about a dog. He was a stray dog and got scabies when he came to

the dog shelter. At First, he didn't trust anyone. But they paid

lots of attention to him. Then he began to trust people and got along with

people. Although it's an old story. But every dog shall have a chance to get

their happiness, and they never give up. They try to get a chance to go home.

They just want to find a home. If you want to buy a dog. Maybe you can

A Bad Shopping Experience

I want to share the worst shopping experience in China. One time,

I went to Guangzhou with my friend. And we went to Under Ground

Street. There are lots of clothes with fashion designs. But they have

different prices. One is for local people, another is for visitors. So we have

to nigotiate with them. Then we can get the good price, I can't understand

why do they always different prices for visitors and local people

. That's not fair. And let me feel bad. Besides that, the sales are not friendly

as Taiwan. After I back to Taiwan, I was so happy that I bought many

beautiful clothes but afterI wash them several times, then the color faded

and the clothes became flabby. I won't buy any clothes in China anymore.

Get Married, Good or Bad?

More and More women they don't want to get maried, because they

have gamophobia. Althoug they reach the age for marriage, they still

don't want to get married. Some of them bacause of no suitable marriage

partner, some of them just afraid of get married. In morden days, women

also need to bring home the bacon, and in tranditional thinking women

also have to do housework, especially if they live with their parents-in-low.

In addition to , they have to take care of their children. They just like 7-11

stand by any time and any anywhere. Does get marrige really a good option?

A Beautiful Place( North-East Coast )

How are you feeling today? Are you in a good mood? or in a

bad mood. What do you do when you feel down? Go exercising,

go KTV sing songs with your friends, or just sleeping. Personally,

I would like to go coffee shop or restaurants and caht with my

friends. Then try to find a solution. There is one of my favorite

place I want to recommend. It is North-East Coast. If I feel

upset. I would go to the place and let me feel a little bit confert

seens like to tell me. Let it out. And my poker face will get dispppear.

Lately, I will realize it's not a big deal. So next time if you get

Hello! My name is Yolanda. I live in Taoyuan. There are 5 people in my family.

I'm the oldest child in my family. I'm glad to join Lunghwa University of Science


and Technology. Not only Lunghwa is a famous school but also I like studying


English. English is my favorite subject. It is a useful language. If I can speak


English fluently, I can go aboard by myself. I work in cream schools. I want to


be a professional English teacher. And I want to teach GEPT.But writing English



is the biggest problem for me. I try to overcome about it. Besides, I like to go


scenic resort and watch TV in my free time. Now I have been studying English


on weekends at Lunghwa at least two years. I have no time to go out lately.
