of fact, it’s to be little the women who are single.

In my point of view, they are attractive. They know

what kind of man exactly they want or not. Probably,

they are picking out their Mr. rights .They didn’t get

married not because their shortcomings. It’s because

of they enjoy their single life. Happiness should not

judge by get married or not. It should depend on someone

who is happy or not. To sum up, I’m so appreciate

The Last Week of having Classes in LHU

This is the last week that I have class in LHU.

I feel very complicated. On the one hand, I don’t

have to worry about the assignment during the

weekdays. On the other hand, it means I can’t see

my lovely classmates and teachers in future. I

won’t forget everything in LHU. Although, we just

get along for two years, but it’s meaningful. When

I studied in junior college, I always worked during

after school time. I rarely have memory about my

school life and my classmates. For me, it’s a pity.

Fortunately, I get back the memory in LHU. It’s

kind of comfort me and puzzle my life. Thank you

for all of you to enrich my life.

If I Were a President

Have you ever think about a question that is if you
could choose who you are, who would you want to be?
For me, I want to be a president. Today I want to
share you if I were a president what would I do.

First, I would draw up an achievement assessment for
the officials, if they have no political performance
in one year, then they need to get off the stage
immediately. Some politicians spend too much time
arguing with each others. Some of them don’t really
have talent to service the people in Taiwan. In my
opinion, choosing people of talent is the first step
to let the economic and political go smoothly.

Second, I also increase some financial class at school
when students entrance from elementary school to
university. Teach students how to deal with their
financial affairs, because many young people spend money
foolishly and have no idea about how to invest their
money so financial class is very important to them. On
the other hand, I would try to promote English as our
second language because Taiwan is an island. We need to
trade with other countries frequently so English is very
important to us.

Third, I would not abolish the death penalty. The
recidivism rate is high after the serious offenders
regain their freedom. Why do we raise them for many
years and let them have chances to commit crimes, then
increase more victims. I would save the money to take
care of the disadvantage groups.

To sum up, to be a president is not an easy job and need
to worried about too many things. No matter being a
president or being someone. We must find pleasure in our
job. After all, devoting to our society is a kind of
honor and makes us have a sense of achievement.

The Educational Problems in Many Double Salary Families

There are lots of double salary families to
form more and more educational problems in the present
generation. For example, parents do care their children’s
performance but few of them pay their attention and
time to their children. How come they count to teachers
do anything for their children but don’t pay their
attention instead of little money. They always have the
excuses about how busy and tired they are after off duty.
Even some of them don’t sign children’s communication
books and don’t check children’s homework. Personally,
not only children need to be educated but also parents.
Over 50% parents, they just to be couch potatoes or play
computer games off duty. If they are not the role models
for their children, how do they request their children to
get good performance?

How to protect us from an earthquake?

Earthquakes strike us without warning and violently.
However, we need to know how to protect us from and
earthquake. Therefore, I have some suggestions for
you to reference.

First, before an earthquake:
1.You need to fasten the cupboards on the wall
and the pictures need to far away from yout bed to
prevent the pictures fall down when you fell asleep.
2.Store the heavy things on lower places.
3.Educate you family members how to call rescuers.
4.Tell your family members after an earthquake really
happened “How”, and “Where” to contact to each other.
5.Prepare some supplies on hand. Just like food, water,
first aid kit or flashlights.

During an earthquake:
1.Stay claim. Far away from the highways, overpasses,
and buildings.
2.Run to the open area, stay there until the shaking
stops.
3.Far away from the windows.
4.Stay in the corner of your house or hind under a
sturdy furniture.
5.Unplug the household appliances.

After an earthquake:
1.Expect aftershocks.
2.Help your neighbors deal with rescue works.
3.Stay away from damaged area.

Taiwan is located in the earthquake belt. We sometimes
hit by earthquakes. We should take precautions in order
to reduce damage. After all, prevention is better than
cure.

LHU Shows the Spirit of “Love”

Love without borders. The earthquake Richter of scale
9.5 strike Japan trigger for a big tsunami in Japan.
The disaster was so huge that Japan seriously short
of goods. Our school, Lunghwa University of Science
and Technology solicit funds for the event. The
donation was originated on March 23th. The
associations all devoted to the donation. They
shouted the slogan “Please make an extra effort
for Japan.” and “Give our love to Japan.” in our
campus. All the stuffs and students responded the
donation enthusiastically. Lunghwa shows the spirit
of “Love”. We will gather statistics the sum of
money carefully and show the reaching achievement
to people. Our donation has been reaching over
$50,000. Student association will use the title as
“All the teachers and students of LHN” donate to
the children who suffered from the disaster in
Japan. We also took this opportunity to throw a
sprat to catch a whole. Hope Japan can recover as
soon as possible.

The Reflection of US Leader Difficult Budget Vote

American president Obama will cut US$38 billion in
the fiscal year that ends September 30. He cut high
rat spending in welfare services, so lots of government
official opposed the deal. Personally, Obama must
have no choice to make such decision. Democratic
lawmaker accused Obman really stand his ground, but
I don’t think so, although the policy will hurt small
businesses and hinder economic growth. It’s nothing
for it. Obama makes long term debt reduction as the
priority policy. It’s not easy to offset the debt.
He needs to cut the spending as soon as possible,
because the debt in US is huge. Then, US print too
much money in the event of subprime mortgage to
currency depreciation. Obama with the purpose of
keeping US dollars balances. He also taxes on the
rich. He said “All Americans must be share the
burden”. I totally agree with it, because of the
US dollars are less valuable than before. Asia is
no more trust US currency. They discuss about the
possibility publish China currency. It’s a good
idea to keep currency stable. We just wait and see.

Studying in LHU is an Unforgettable Experience in My Life

Time flies. I have already studied in LHU as a two-year
institution student of technology for one half year.
It's really hard for me at the beginning, because I
both have strenuous academic pressure and working
during this period of time.

Furmore, the school is a little far from my house.
Luckily, one of my classmate whose name is Kitty.
We live very close to each other. So we always go
to school together and chat on the way to school
and chat on the way after school. Thanks to Kitty,
let me almost forget how far the distance and
tiredness they are. I will never regret to do the
decision. My classmates come from every walk of
life. So they all possess professional in their job.
In the process of studying, I realize studying in
LHU have already become one of a part in my life
and my habit.

I will graduate from LHU this year. On the one hand,
I feel so excited about completion of a course from
LHU, and on the other hand, I so reluctant. To sum up,
I an glad to be your classmate. I'm so proud of you,
my classmate. Hope we can keep in touch with others.
It is one of unforgettable experience in my life.

A Special classmate, Jack

I have a special clssmate in LHU, his name is Jack. At the

first time I saw him, he has dark skin ,thick eyebrowns,

charming eyes with cheerful smile and long hair. Honestly,

I think he must be a lady killer or something like that.

Because he looks similar with my stereotype impression

about lady killer.

After I get alone with him for a period of time. Surprisingly,

he is totally different with my stereotpye impression. He is

a humble, diligent, and thoughfulness. He always help my

classmate and me deal with the schoolwork. I'm always

dependence on him, but he drop out this semester without

warning. I feel sad about it.

However, he drop out for his work. I'm so appreciate his

braveness. Hope he can achieve his goal soon. We all give

you our best wishes no matter where you are.

Karoshi

Karoshi is Japanese work for “Death from
Overwork”. There is an engineer who works in
a hi-tech company dead few days ago. There
still many arguments in the issue. Working is
important but how about health? For me,
health is more important than my work,
because if we loose our health, everything is
meaningless.

According to the research people who suffer
from Karoshi always happened to work over
60 hours in a week, under lots of pressure
or work all day long. There are three kinds
of high risk groups that is people who work
in long hours, work in shifts, and don’t
work in regular time. They are the high risk
groups cause Karoshi. In western, they
seldom get Karoshi, because they cut their
life and work easily. Beside that, they pay
much attention to their leisure life. What is
the warning about Karoshi? Just like, having
a headache, having no appetite, hard to
catch your attention, short-tempered,
irritability, pessimistic. The weight changes
dramatically and so one.

In the busy life, we can not avoid overworking,
but we do not ignore the warming from your
body. If you feel tired, you can lay down the
work and take a rest. Doing some simple
exercise , listening to music, drinking tea
or coffee are the good ways to relax.
Appropriate rest is the best way to prevent
Karoshi.

The Reflection of Rich and Poor Dad

This book is one of my favorite book, because
its has many misconception about how to get
rich. For example: our parents always tell
us need to work hard and save money hardly
then you will become rich someday. But in
the reality life it doesn’t work and the rate
is getting lower and lower. It will be no rate
in the future.

The author has two dads. The first one is
his birth dad. He is a well educated person.
The second dad drop out when he was
eighth grade. They are diligence in their
whole life but the result is different in their
life. Although, education is very important
but the conception is more important. The
author compares different thinking
between them. For example: if they both
want to buy something. The rich dad will
say “how do I can afford it?” but the
poor dad will say “I can’t afford it” or
the rich dad say “I have child that why I get
poor and then the rich dad will say “ I have
child so I need to be a rich person”.

Personally, investment and manage money
are very important but we don’t have
enough information in our school life. It’s
a pity. Lots of people they learn the lesson
from their parents or few of them have their
own thinking. The author say : Rich and
Poor both can inherit. How do you think?

The Reflection of Christchruch Earthquake

The earthquake struck Christchurch few

days ago. It was horrible. The building

crumbled into the street. There are still

many people missing or dead in the rubble.

The victims are over hundreds of people.

We see a scene of devastation every where.

They may loose their parents, siblings,

relatives or friends at the moment.

We are all afraid of earthquakes but how

do we protect ourselves in an earthquake.

Here are some tips: 1. Keep calm. Watch

out for falling objects. 2. Move to an open

area away from trees, buildings or signs.

3. Stay outdoors. 4. If we are in the car,

stop engine and keep the radio on. Taiwan

is set on earthquake belt. We need to know

how to protect us.

People who sometimes complain about

their work, family or something but we are

the luckiest people, because we born in an

abundant country. We have dear parents,

siblings, and lots of sweet friends. We are

used to live in happiness and take it for

granted. We need to precious our life and

enjoy it. Life is short. I always take my life

seriously. For me, I full of the passion and

keep curious in my life.

My Good Friends

I have three kinds of good friends that are

friends who are frankly, tolerant and wisely.

Luckily, I have three good friends who are

frankly, tolerant and wisely. They have different

meaning for me.

The first friend I would like to thank

for her frankly. She always tells me the true.

We hard to get the truth in our life but get

many white lies. She knows that not what I want.

I would like to know the true then improve and

challenge it. Sometimes the truth is cruelly

but I still choice face it. As the proverb goes “

Don’t cry for spilt milk.” It’s one of my

favorite motto. The second good friend I would

like to thank for her tolerant. We have blue

mood sometime but she can comfort me and give

me some opinion. The third friend I would like

to thank for his wisely. He always tells me

the knowledge that I have never know from

politics, economy to financial affairs. He

always makes me feel surprised.

There are many friends in our life.

We can learn the different merits from different

person. Then, make the self-examination. Hope

I can become better and better in my future.

Chinese New Year of 2011

I get much happiness this Chinese New Year.

I went to visit my grandma and my relatives.

We almost haven’t seen each other for almost

one year. Some of them are going to get merry

this year. I give them my best wishes. My

aunts prepared a big lunch for us. They’re

really good at cook. I put on 2 kilos this winter

vacation so I’ll decide to go health club more

often after Chinese New Year.

Speaking of Chinese New Year, I went to

Feng Chia Night Market as well. Fortunately,

there wasn’t so crowded at that time. We

just walked around there and then went to

see our friend who own a restaurant. He

didn’t open the restaurant that day, so he

spent some time to prepare a big meal for

my friend and me. The life in Taichung make

an impression on me. For examples, there

aren’t crowd in Taichung. Furthermore,

the buildings and roads are much bigger

than Taoyuan and the people are fewer

than Taoyuan. No wonder, many people

say Taichung is one of the place that suit

people to live.

To sum up, I have a good time during

Chinese New Year. It is going to school

opens. I feel both happy and sad. Because

I’m going to see my lovely classmate

but I need to finish my winter vacation

assignment. Hope everyone has a prosperity

and successfully new year.
